The ace Indian cricketer has teamed up with Sony Pictures Entertainment India for a special Spider-Man: Brand New Day campaign that cleverly reimagines his life through the lens of Peter Parker.
Following KL Rahul into the Spidey celebrations, Suryakumar Yadav, who is exclusively managed by RISE Worldwide, brings his own fearless flair to the campaign, blending cricket with one of the world's most loved superheroes.
Drawing inspiration from the film's intriguing premise - where the world remembers Spider-Man but has forgotten Peter Parker's identity - the campaign puts Suryakumar Yadav in a similar predicament. While everyone recognises him as the explosive cricketer lighting up stadiums and television screens, no one seems to know who he is in everyday life.
The fun, tongue-in-cheek campaign playfully explores what it would be like if one of India's biggest cricket stars suddenly became anonymous, mirroring Peter Parker's extraordinary new reality in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Speaking about the collaboration, Suryakumar Yadav said, "As a cricketer, every day is a brand new day. You can't rely on what happened yesterday. You have to adapt, trust your instincts and be ready for the next challenge. That's one of the things I love most about Spider-Man too. No matter what he's up against, he always finds the courage to get back up and keep fighting. That mindset really resonates with me because cricket constantly pushes you to evolve, surprise people and believe in yourself."
"Like millions of fans, I've grown up watching Spider-Man and cheering for him through every challenge. Being part of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day campaign has been a lot of fun because it brings together two things I genuinely love - cricket and Spider-Man. I can't wait for fans to experience this adventure on the big screen, and I hope they enjoy this collaboration as much as I did", he added.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release on 30th July in India. The Tom Holland starrer will release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
